Bio

Carl R. Varnedoe is a Liberty County, Georgia native educated in the Liberty County public school system. Carl completed his undergraduate education at the University of Georgia in 1999 and graduated from Mercer University's Walter F. George School of Law in 2003. Carl is active in the State Bar of Georgia leadership having served as a member of the Young Lawyers Division Board of Directors from 2004-2011, and again in 2013, and having served as Co-Chair of the Young Lawyers Division's Leadership Academy from 2008-2011. Carl currently serves as an Atlantic Judicial Circuit Board of Governors' member, a position he has held since 2010, and also serves on the State Bar's Advisory Committee on Legislation, a position he has held since 2012.

Carl has been honored by The National Trial Lawyers Association as a Top 100 Trial Lawyer and a Top 40 under 40 trial lawyer in the State of Georgia. In 2013, Carl was selected as a Daily Report On the Rise- Top 40 Lawyer Under 40, and has been selected as a Georgia Super Lawyers Rising Star in 2009, 2010, 2016 and 2017.

Carl's trial practice focuses on the representation of individuals and families who have suffered a catastrophic personal injury or death as the result of someone's negligence.

Carl is a member of Wesley Monumental United Methodist Church and enjoys spending time with his wife and two daughters, running, playing tennis, offshore fishing and quail hunting.
