Bio

Brian G. Miller, founder and President of Brian G. Miller Co., L.P.A., is a respected Columbus personal injury lawyer with extensive experience representing injured people. He focuses his litigation practice on plaintiffs’ personal injury and wrongful death cases, including serious roadway accidents involving motor vehicles, trucks, motorcycles, bicycles, and/or pedestrians. He also represents those involved in construction accidents resulting from unprotected or unguarded hazards, lack of safety railings, lack of lanyards and tie-off equipment, lack of job site communications, warnings, and other OSHA violations, as well as other types of workplace and premises negligence cases. Mr. Miller has represented numerous workers due to serious injuries sustained on unguarded machinery such as presses, conveyors, and similar machines. His clients include people who have sustained serious injuries including head injuries, amputations, broken bones, and back injuries. Mr. Miller has also enjoyed success representing cyclists, triathletes, and other race participants, protecting their respective rights to the road, and recovering significant compensation for damages sustained against careless or aggressive drivers.

Mr. Miller is a former Assistant Franklin County Prosecutor where he earned respect for his abilities as a trial lawyer. He is a graduate of the National Institute of Trial Advocacy, a member of the Million Dollar and Multimillion Dollar Advocates Forum, and Best Lawyers in America which named him as the Personal Injury Lawyer of the Year for Columbus, OH, in 2019. In addition to obtaining the highest verdict in the State of Ohio in 2017, Mr. Miller also has secured numerous results for clients in the six- and seven-figure range. He was honored by the Central Ohio Association for Justice as the recipient of its Louisville Slugger Award for the area’s outstanding trial verdict in 2012 and again in 2018. He has been recognized with numerous awards for client satisfaction. He also has been asked by other attorneys to serve as a third-party mediator for their cases.

Mr. Miller serves as outside counsel to the NHL’s Columbus Blue Jackets. He also represents certain clients with respect to contract and business and employment related issues. He has served in his community and within his profession, including multiple years of service on the Columbus Bar Association’s Judicial Screening Committee, and on the Board of Trustees and Executive Committee for the Ohio Association for Justice. As a longtime resident of Central Ohio, Mr. Miller’s practice is physically located in Franklin County; however, he has experience in multiple courts of common pleas and appellate courts throughout the state of Ohio. He is a Phi Beta Kappa and summa cum laude graduate of The Ohio State University.
