Bio

Combining sound strategy and zealous advocacy with a healthy dose of pragmatism, Heather has consistently achieved creative, cost-effective solutions for her clients. She has successfully represented both individuals and businesses in complex and oftentimes high-stakes cases, including contract, trade secret, and copyright infringement matters, and the prosecution and defense of all manner of business torts. Heather also serves as co- and liaison counsel for plaintiffs in national class action litigation pertaining to consumer fraud and deceptive trade practices, as well as local counsel for numerous out-of-state attorneys and their clients.

Heather practices in both state and federal court in Utah, and is admitted to practice before the U.S. Tenth Circuit Court of Appeals. She is chair-elect of the Utah State Bar Litigation Section Executive Committee, a member of the Utah Supreme Court Advisory Committee on the Rules of Civil Procedure, and a mentor in the Utah Supreme Court's New Lawyer Training Program. She was selected by her peers to be a member of Utah Business Magazine's 2015 Utah Legal Elite™ in Civil Litigation, and in 2016, she was honored to receive the Utah State Bar President's Award for exceptional service to the legal profession and community. In 2017, she was rated a "Top Business Litigation Attorney" by Mountain States Super Lawyers, and elected President of her firm.

As an avid supporter of the arts, Heather presently serves on the boards for Dance Theatre Coalition and Utah Lawyers for the Arts. In 2012, she relished the honor of participating in a staged reading of Love, Loss and What I Wore at the Salt Lake Acting Company alongside many accomplished, well-respected and vibrant women in the community.
