Bio

John Hadden is a Georgia trial lawyer focusing on catastrophic personal injury and wrongful death cases.His emphasis is on auto collisions, trucking wrecks, and premises liability matters, and he also has had significant success assisting other attorneys on appeal.

John has litigated across the state of Georgia in state and federal courts, both at trial and on appeal. He has also authored three books on litigation published by Thomson Reuters: Green's Georgia Law of Evidence, Georgia Law of Torts - Trial Preparation and Practice, and the Georgia Magistrate Court Handbook. He speaks frequently at continuing legal education seminars, and is chair of two regular seminars focusing on civil litigation and appellate practice. John is also a board member of the Atlanta Bar Association Litigation Section, where he serves as treasurer, and is a member of the Executive Committee for the Georgia Trial Lawyers Association, where he serves as chair of the Amicus Curiae Committee, which assists trial lawyers in Georgia with cases before the Georgia Supreme Court and Court of Appeals as well as the federal Eleventh Circuit Court of Appeals. He is also chair of the Atlanta Trial Lawyers Association. Previously, John was chair of the Litigation Section of the State Bar of Georgia Young Lawyers Division.

John is a graduate of Emory University, where he was a double major in History and Environmental Studies, and the University of Georgia School of Law, where he was a member of the Georgia Law Review. He serves as chairman of the board of the non-profit Georgia Network to End Sexual Assault, and is a registered mediator. He has been named a Georgia Superlawyer since 2014, and before that a Georgia Superlawyer Rising Star from 2011-2013. He has also been recognized as one of Georgia's Legal Elite by Georgia Trend Magazine.
