Bio

Gregory B. McMenamy, Jr. is the founding partner of McMenamy Law in Atlanta, Georgia. He is a trial lawyer with 28 years of experience in complex personal injury litigation. He has successfully litigated cases against individuals, corporations and insurance companies. Mr. McMenamy's areas of practice include trucking accidents, automobile and motorcycle accidents as well as catastrophic personal injury, wrongful death, head and spinal injuries, civil trial practice, and premises and products liability.

Mr. McMenamy received his undergraduate degree from the University of Notre Dame and his Juris Doctorate from the University of Georgia. While in law school, he was class president his first and third years, a part of the Environmental Law Society and was inducted into the legal fraternity Phi Delta Phi. Mr. McMenamy was also a member of the Editorial Board of the Georgia Journal of International and Comparative Law where he authored an authoritative paper on international law that was selected as "best brief." He maintained membership in the Mock Trial Board and was honored with an invitation to join the elite American Bar Association Mock Trial Team.

After his admission to the Georgia Bar, Mr. McMenamy served as the judicial law clerk to the Honorable John A. Terry at the District of Columbia Court of Appeals in Washington, D.C. After this clerkship, he joined the Atlanta firm of McLaughlin, Hendon, Miller & Croy as a senior trial lawyer. In 2001, he became a partner at Mayfield, Commander & McMenamy, LLC. In 2003, he formed his own law firm, Gregory B. McMenamy, Jr., P.C., which eventually became McMenamy Law.

He is a sought-after lecturer and author, and a member of numerous professional and charitable organizations. He has received Martindale-Hubbell's highest rating of AV-Preeminent* as well as a 2009-2017 Fellow of the Bar Register of Preeminent Lawyers, exemplifying his high level of professional experience.
