Bio

Don has practiced law for 34 years, and he has a true generalist's perspective. As trial counsel in well over 100 trials (mostly jury trials), Don understands litigation. He has served as lead lawyer, liaison counsel, special master and an expert witness in class action and complex litigation matters. Don is frequently asked to lecture on ethics, professionalism, corporate law and litigation topics. He is presently completing a second six year commitment as a hearing committee chairperson for the Louisiana Attorney Disciplinary Board. In addition, Don is a member of the Judges and Lawyers’ Assistance Program Board of Directors.

Don serves as Chief Legal Officer and General Counsel of Delta SubSea, LLC, and he is Of Counsel with Couhig Partners. He continues his rich history of representing clients in a broad range of matters, including litigation, including class actions and mass torts, oil and gas transactions and general advices.
