Bio

Mr. Batey is the founding member the Batey Law Firm, PLLC. He received his J.D. from the Michigan State University College of Law in 1995. His undergraduate degree, a B.A. in Political Science is from the University of Michigan. Mr. Batey represents clients in all types of civil litigation, specializes in representing clients in employment and civil rights matters. He also maintains a practice advising clients in the entertainment industry in commercial transactions and sophisticated business litigation.
Mr. Batey has practiced law in Southeastern Michigan since 1996, and has litigated cases throughout the United States. He also assists clients in business organization and planning. He has extensive litigation experience and is frequently sought after by other attorneys seeking his assistance in litigating their cases.
In addition to his business and litigation practice, Mr. Batey is active in the legal community and an advisor to many of his business clients.
