Bio

David graduated from the University of Kansas in 1990 and attended the University of Oklahoma College of Law, graduating in 1993. For over twenty years, he has been defending health care professionals in medical malpractice cases in state and federal courts throughout the United States and in matters before regulatory and licensing agencies. Additionally, David has represented a number of hospital systems in assorted employment law issues including wrongful termination lawsuits, alleged FMLA violations, whistle blower liability, retaliatory discharge, and wage and hour claims. David also has experience handling complicated Bad Faith matters representing both insureds and insurance companies. He has a multi-state practice and regularly handles cases involving catastrophic injuries. He is often a speaker on such issues as Medical Staff Services, Hospital Corporate Liability, Negligent Credentialing, Medical Charting, EMTALA, Risk Management Investigations, and effective Trial Strategy and Litigation Tactics.

David is a member of the Oklahoma Association of Defense Counsel (two time board member and past vice-president), the Defense Research Institute, the American Bar Association, and the Oklahoma Bar Association. He is an AV rated lawyer through Martindale-Hubble in Healthcare Law, Medical Malpractice, and Labor & Employment Law. David has also repeatedly been named to the list of Oklahoma Super Lawyers by Thomson Reuters.
