Meet Jessica

Jessica handles a variety of complex civil litigation cases throughout Colorado and Wyoming including construction defect, general liability, professional liability, product liability, mold, fire, subrogation, and general commercial matters as well as personal injury and premises liability.

Firm Service/History

Jessica became a partner of CCRJ in July of 2019. Prior to joining CCRJ, Jessica was a shareholder at a well-respected Denver law firm. She has experience counseling clients in risk management and pre-litigation disputes and has guided them through mediation, arbitration, and trial.

After graduating from the University of Colorado – Colorado Springs, where she earned a dual bachelor of arts degree in political science and history with high honors, and a masters degree in public administration, Jessica attended the University of Denver, Sturm College of Law, graduating in 2006. While at DU, she served on the Student Bar Association and earned various moot court awards. Prior to attending law school, Jessica worked in a local and state government and as an advocate for non-profit organizations specializing in community leadership and domestic violence prevention and treatment.

Professional Activities

Jessica is licensed to practice law in the state and federal courts of Colorado and Wyoming, as well as the Tenth Circuit Court of Appeals. She is a former member of the Thompson G. Marsh Inn of Court and a former officer of its Board of Directors. Jessica is also a former member of the Board of the Colorado Defense Lawyers Association and the former Co-Chair of its Construction Law Committee. She is also a member of the Wyoming Defense Lawyers Association.

Honors and Awards
In 2019, Jessica received the Certified Litigation Management Professional accreditation from the Claims & Litigation Management Alliance.

In 2016 she was honored by Law Week Colorado in its Barrister’s Best Edition as the People’s Choice Construction Defects Lawyer for Defendants.

She was selected as a “Super Lawyers Rising Star” in the years 2010, 2011, 2012, 2013, 2014, 2015 and 2016.
