Bio

Drew is a litigator, focusing primarily on high-stakes products liability, environmental, and mass tort litigation. He has significant experience with multidistrict (MDL) litigation matters and advising clients on punitive damages. He also has defended against contract- and negligence-based recovery actions.

Drew has experience in all phases of litigation at the trial and appellate levels, including briefing discovery motions, motions in limine, and dispositive motions in both state and federal courts. He has taken numerous depositions and has international arbitration experience. He also has experience working with medical and scientific issues and working with subject matter experts in the course of product liability litigation matters.

Before joining McGuireWoods, Drew served as a law clerk to the Honorable Eugene E. Siler, Jr. of the United States Court of Appeals for the Sixth Circuit and to the Honorable Norman K. Moon of the United States District Court for the Western District of Virginia. While in law school, Drew served on the Editorial Board for the Virginia Law Review and as the Articles Editor for the Virginia Journal of Social Policy and the Law.
