Bio

Ray Maples, originally from Georgia, was raised by his hardworking Mom and Grandmother. These two exceptional women instilled in him a strong work ethic and a passion for helping others from an early age.

After starting his legal career at a prominent firm in Atlanta, Ray initially focused on handling personal injury litigation matters for large corporations and insurance companies which is typically called “defense work” i.e. defending companies that have been sued. However, he quickly realized that his true calling was to assist individuals who had suffered permanent and catastrophic injuries due to the negligence of others. It was then that he discovered his passion for advocating for individuals rather than corporations because he believes whole heartedly that the “little guy” usually gets taken advantage of by the large corporations merely because they have more money and power. Ray believes that is wrong and fuels his passion for the “little guy” as he likes to call himself and his clients. It is his own David v. Goliath story.

In addition to his legal pursuits, Ray enjoys traveling, supporting the Thunder basketball team, following anything related to OU, and cherishing quality time with his two amazing children.

For over two decades, Ray has dedicated his practice to cases involving catastrophic injuries, wrongful death resulting from nursing home neglect and abuse, trucking accidents, serious car collisions, and defective products. He takes pride in leading a highly knowledgeable team of lawyers and staff who share his commitment to these practice areas. Together, they have successfully recovered hundreds of millions of dollars for their clients, providing them with the necessary resources to move forward.
