Bio

Bruce D. Beach is currently a litigator at Winckler, Harvey & McConnell, PLLC in Austin, Texas, having transitioned from insurance defense to personal injury litigation. He has more than 30 years' experience of litigating cases in Texas and Louisiana, and has a AV (highest possible rating in both legal ability and ethical standards) with Martindale Hubble. Since joining the firm, he has helped the firm recover millions in jury verdicts and settlements on behalf of its clients.

From June 1, 2012, to January 17, 2020, Bruce was a staff attorney for Liberty Mutual Insurance Company in Lafayette, Louisiana, where he successfully handled a significant number of high-exposure personal injury cases on behalf of Liberty Mutual and its insureds in Lafayette and surrounding parishes, including first-trial experience with multi-million-dollar verdicts at stake.

From April 4, 2011, to May 31, 2012, Bruce represented the interests of abused and neglected children in Child in Need of Care (CINC) litigation in the Louisiana Sixteenth Judicial District Courts, through the State of Louisiana's Child Advocacy Program (CAP). The 16th JDC consists of Iberia, St. Martin, and St. Mary Parishes. Outside of these parishes, Bruce represented minors in juvenile court proceedings where mental health / mental retardation issues are involved via the State of Louisiana's Mental Health Advocacy Service.

Formerly, Bruce has also served as Diocesan Representative for Episcopal Relief & Development (ERD) within the Episcopal Diocese of Western Louisiana and has volunteered his time with Meals on Wheels and other nonprofits.
