Bio

Hailing from the Lone Star State, Mr. Dressler attended undergraduate school at The University of Texas at Austin and received his law degree from South Texas College of Law in 1998. Upon graduation, Brett practiced as a trial lawyer in Houston, TX and taught trial advocacy as an Adjunct Professor and Director of Varsity Trial Advocacy at South Texas College of Law. Brett was inducted into the Order of Barristers and was named South Texas College of Law Dean’s Most Outstanding Advocate for 1998, after twice winning the ATLA Regional Mock Trial Tournament and earning the Best Advocate award at NITA’s national Tournament of Champions.

Brett’s trial experience consists of handling complex business litigation cases, personal injury matters, medical malpractice, construction disputes, Homeowner’s Association disputes and a variety of other experiences that enable him to solve problems by thinking outside the box. Having tried more than 60 cases to verdict, Brett is a member of the American Board of Trial Advocates, a SuperLawyer (Personal Injury and Business Litigation), and is AV rated by Martindale-Hubbell. Brett is also a Lieutenant Colonel in the United States Army Reserve Judge Advocate General’s Corps, currently assigned as a Joint Operations Planner.
