Bio

Kathleen M. Reilly is a co-founder and owner of the firm.  She has been an attorney for over 35 years handling serious personal injury claims in the courts of New Jersey. Practicing at the forefront of complex litigation cases, she has represented victims of motor vehicle accidents, personal injury accidents, medical malpractice matters and construction accidents. Through trials and/or settlements, she has reached numerous $1 million plus recoveries for her clients, including a $6 million verdict in a construction accident case and a $1.2 million verdict in an accident involving a bicycle and a limousine. Ms. Reilly is certified by the Supreme Court of New Jersey as a Certified Civil Trial Attorney.  She is also admitted to practice before the Supreme Court of the United States.

In the legal community, Ms. Reilly has advocated for New Jersey workers, consumers and families through her service as president-elect of the New Jersey Association for Justice (NJAJ), a group of 2800+ attorneys who protect the rights of individuals in our courts. Ms. Reilly is NJAJ President for 2021-2022.  She will continue to advocate in Trenton to preserve people’s rights protecting their right to sue professionals for malpractice and fighting for legislation to restore the rights of those injured in auto crashes. She has co chaired the NJAJ Meadowlands Seminar and the Boardwalk Seminar with thousands of participants attending the legal education provided.  In addition to being co-chair Ms. Reilly has chaired and spoken at multiple seminars for NJAJ, NJICLE, the New Jersey State Bar, the New Jersey Defense Association, the Hudson County Bar Association, and the Middlesex County Bar Association.  Kathleen Reilly is also a member of ABOTA, a national association of experienced trial lawyers and judges. ABOTA  is an invitation-only organization. Members must have tried at least 10 civil jury trials to conclusion and possess additional litigation experience. Members must also exhibit the virtues of civility, integrity and professionalism. Ms. Reilly is a Trustee of the Hudson County Bar Association where she is also a co-chair of the Civil Practice Committee and a co-chair of the Arbitration Committee.

Among her peers, Ms.Reilly has been distinguished with a Martindale-Hubbell AV Preeminent Peer Review Rating. She has been consistently included in Thomson Reuters' Super Lawyers list for Plaintiff's Personal Injury and named to its Top 50: Women in New Jersey Super Lawyers list on multiple occasions, most recently in 2021. The Hudson County Bar Association honored her with its Civil Trial Practice Award in 2014, in recognition of her impact as a lawyer in New Jersey and her dedication to fight for the rights of those injured.

Kathleen Reilly is a graduate of Rosemont College in Rosemont, Pennsylvania and she received her Juris Doctor from Seton Hall University School of Law. She began her legal career as an associate at the Budd Larner Law Firm in Short Hills, NJ where she worked on the Agent Orange litigation and represented various manufacturers in product liability defense matters as well as representing both plaintiff and defendants in medical malpractice litigation.
