Bio

Marc J. Siegel is the Founder and Managing Partner of Siegel & Dolan Ltd. and has practiced labor and employment law for his entire career. He has a unique labor and employment background, representing both individuals and businesses in a wide range of matters. Mr. Siegel spent approximately seven years practicing at Laner Muchin, a mid-size Chicago management-side boutique labor and employment firm.

For most of his twenty-year career, Mr. Siegel has focused on employee-side representation for professionals and litigation on behalf of low income workers. He has drafted employment agreements and reviewed restrictive covenant agreements on behalf of chief executive officers, physicians, university faculty, and other professionals. He has negotiated six-figure severance packages for numerous former executives and achieved successful results for countless other white-collar clients. Mr. Siegel has also successfully litigated all types of employment cases on behalf of individual employees, classes of employees, and employers.

Mr. Siegel is not only an advocate; he is a certified mediator and an appointed American Arbitration Association (AAA) arbitrator in labor and employment matters. He is fully conversational in Spanish and has been invited to speak on employment matters nationwide. He has been recognized on the Illinois Super Lawyer Top 100 list for the past five years (2012-2016), which means that he has been rated in the Top 100 out of 60,000-90,000 Illinois lawyers.
