Bio

In 2017, Maryland attorney Matt Trollinger recognized a need for a new type of law firm that could help clients with their injuries: a firm with an emphasis on client service and thorough care of personal injury and workers’ compensation cases. The sole purpose of Trollinger Law LLC is to compensate and fight for those who are injured.

A Passion for Justice for the Injured
Matt found his passion for representing victims of car crashes in the Maryland and D.C. area while working for a busy personal injury firm in Washington, D.C. Matt focused on getting the most for his clients and learned the claims process for all kinds of cases along the personal injury spectrum. Whether a client had a minor fender bender or a crash involving death and catastrophic injuries, Matt always put the client first.

In 2011, Matt moved his practice to his home state of Maryland. There he began to not only represent those involved in car, motorcycle, and truck collisions, but also hard working Marylanders who were hurt on the job. He later founded Trollinger Law to help Marylanders and D.C. residents to receive justice in their workers’ compensation and personal injury cases. Based in Charles County, he now works with clients in the District of Columbia and throughout Maryland.

Whether it is a car accident,* or an injury on the job, or other injury case, he is here to serve YOU.

Born and Raised in Maryland
A native Marylander, Matt was raised in Montgomery County and went to school in Frederick. He left Maryland to attend Grove City College in Pennsylvania. At Grove City, he was a two sport captain and four year letter winner for the Men’s Swimming and Diving Team as well as the Men’s Water Polo Team.

He obtained his law degree at Regent University in Virginia Beach, Virginia. Through Regent, he also completed the International Law & Human Rights Program in Strasbourg, France, and studied at Oxford University, Hertford College in Oxford, England.

Matt loves living in La Plata, Maryland with his wife, Danielle, son, Decker, and daughter, Anna. He loves his work and assures his clients that all of his energy will be put into protecting your rights.

In his free time, Matt is active in the community and you can find him coaching age group swim practice for the College of Southern Maryland in La Plata.
