MICHAEL J. FISHER is a partner with Rush, Hannula, Harkins & Kyler, L.L.P., in Tacoma, where he has spent his entire career. He joined the firm as an attorney in 2002 after interning during law school from 2000 through 2002. Mike obtained his bachelor’s degree from the University of Washington in 1998 and graduated cum laude from Seattle University School of Law in 2002. He became a partner with the firm in 2009.

Mike is an Eagle member of the American Association for Justice, The National Trial Lawyers and the Washington State Trial Lawyers Association. He has also been active in the Tacoma-Pierce County Bar Association where he was the president of the Young Lawyers Section in 2007. Mike has been recognized as a “Super Lawyer” by Washington Law and Politics every year since 2013.

Mike is a tenacious trial lawyer who loves representing plaintiffs and puts every ounce of effort and enthusiasm possible into his work. He has successfully recovered for clients injured in nursing homes, injured on construction sites and injured by medical malpractice. Mike recently obtained a trial verdict of $6,490,000.00 in Federal Court on behalf of a client who experienced severe depression and PTSD after an exposure to ammonia gas.

Mike also does a significant amount of nursing home litigation and he is a member of the American Association for Justice’s Nursing Home Litigation Group and former chair of the WSAJ nursing home litigation section.
