Bio

The Law Office of Thomas M. Green is a boutique family law firm located near the Arts and Design District of Carmel, Indiana. Mr. Green's practice remains devoted to representing clients in complex matters in divorce, paternity, adoptions, and modifications to custody orders. Since opening his office in January, 2012, Mr. Green's clients have varied from professional athletes, lawyers, entrepreneurs, salespersons, stay-at-home parents, and executives. By focusing entirely on family law matters, Mr. Green has the experience necessary to represent clients in the complex issues unique to family law, including asset valuation, contested custody, qualified retirement plan transfers, discovery of admissible evidence, alternative dispute resolution, and trial advocacy.

Mr. Green is past Chair of the Executive Committee of the Family Law Section of the Indianapolis Bar Association – a position elected by the members of the Section. He has chaired multiple advanced-level seminars for Continuing Legal Education, advocated on behalf of the Bar Association before the Senate Judiciary Committee of the Indiana General Assembly on proposed legislation relating to family law matters, and authored several articles published to the Section. Tom has donated his time as Guardian Ad Litem for children in Court cases, and as mentor for the Mentor Match program of the Indiana State Bar Association.

Mr. Green is involved in a variety of civic activities and service. He has served as Vice President of the Home Corporation of the Alpha Chapter of Phi Kappa Psi. He has participated in the “Teach Me What’s Great About America” program, where he presents the historical significance of the Bill of Rights to elementary children, as well as the Annual “March Against Hunger” food drive campaign through the Attorney General’s office.
