Mr. Tietjen is a partner of Rouda, Feder, Tietjen & McGuinn in San Francisco. Tim specializes in catastrophic personal injury and wrongful death cases, including premises and products liability, elder abuse, public entity liability, and trucking litigation. Mr. Tietjen has developed an outstanding track record for obtaining consistently excellent results for his clients. He has tried several cases which have resulted in multimillion dollars verdicts. In addition, Tim has also secured numerous seven (7) and eight (8) figure settlements for his clients.

In 2007, Mr. Tietjen had the distinction of obtaining a $29 million dollar settlement for a worker injured in an electrocution accident. This is one of the largest recoveries ever secured in California for an injured worker. In 2016, Tim secured the highest personal injury settlement in Northern California. Mr. Tietjen was the 1999 President of the San Francisco Trial Lawyers Association. He was also a finalist for the 2012 CAOC Consumer Attorney of The Year award. Tim has written and lectured extensively in the personal injury field for CAOC and SFTLA. As part of the top five percent of lawyers in the state, Mr. Tietjen has been included in the California Super Lawyers list every year since 2005. Mr. Tietjen was also selected by his peers for inclusion in Best Lawyers of America.
