Bio

Wayne A. Ely is a highly accomplished trial lawyer focusing on civil and criminal trial work, civil rights and discrimination, complex litigation and serious injury cases. Mr. Ely has produced multi-million dollar results in a number of complex and difficult cases, and has tried a variety of jury cases involving wrongful death, civil rights violations, employment discrimination, and serious personal injuries.

Mr. Ely graduated summa cum laude from Temple University and cum laude from Temple University School of Law in 1993. He was a member of the exclusive Temple Moot Court Honor Society and the Temple Environmental and Technology Law Journal. He also received the Barrister’s Award for excellence in trial advocacy. Prior to law school, he spent several years as a political and investigative journalist, receiving a Keystone Press Award for his investigative work in 1991.

Mr. Ely concentrates almost exclusively on trial work, and has successfully handled many difficult and unusual cases. He is also an experienced appellate advocate and has argued several complex appeals successfully before the United States Court of Appeals for the Third Circuit and Pennsylvania’s appellate courts.
