James McGoldrick is a Dallas-based trial lawyer with extensive national and regional courtroom experience who has a record of delivering winning outcomes when bet-the-company risk is at stake. He has served as lead counsel in hundreds of state and federal cases spanning more than thirty states and U.S. territories and in trials from coast to coast.

Mr. McGoldrick has represented product and chemical manufacturers and distributors in catastrophic injury and property damage cases, trucking, aviation and transportation clients, hospitals and healthcare companies, as well as businesses with commercial litigation risks and complex disputes in a variety of industries, including the successful prosecution of a Texas fraud and breach-of-contract aviation case featured in America's Top 100 Verdicts.

He has litigated high-stakes products, premises, industrial accident, healthcare, transportation and construction, chemical exposure, and environmental liabilities, as well as complex business disputes, including breach of contract, interference with business relations, trade secrets, covenants not to compete, officer and director liability, insurance coverage, fraud, and deceptive trade practices. When a Fortune 1000 company was facing massive claims for lost profits on the purchase of 670 tank rail cars, or the risk of large consequential damages arising out of an alleged failure to comply with the California Air Resource Board's Ozone Depleting Substance Protocol thereby preventing plaintiff from selling carbon offset credits, the company sought Mr. McGoldrick's help. He is versatile and strategic both in and out of the courtroom, and equally adept at creatively resolving disputes in manner calculated to serve a client's business or legal strategy.

Mr. McGoldrick's personal experience bolsters his ability to succeed in any courtroom and relate to any jury. He is a dual American-Irish citizen born in Malaysia who has lived in nine countries and visited more than forty others. He attended a Jesuit Preparatory School in Ireland and speaks multiple languages. He graduated from the University of Texas with dual undergraduate degrees and earned his J.D. from the University of Texas School of Law.
