Bio

Kevin T. O’Brien is an attorney at Colligan Law LLP – a law firm providing legal services to entrepreneurs and cutting-edge businesses based in Buffalo, New York. Kevin’s practice relates primarily to litigation.

Since his admission to the New York State Bar in 2000, he has focused his practice on assisting individuals and entities in commercial litigation, securities litigation and arbitration.

Kevin received his J.D. from Brooklyn Law School and his B.S. in Business Administration with a concentration in Finance from Boston University. After graduating Kevin worked in New York City and New Jersey for nearly ten years, where in addition to private practice he served as a regulatory officer for the New Jersey Office of the Attorney General’s Bureau of Securities.

He has represented clients in courts across New York State, including every federal District Court and New York State Supreme Courts located in all four Judicial Departments. He has also drafted and argued appeals before the Second Circuit Court of Appeals and the Second and Fourth Departments of the New York State Appellate Division.
